Welcome

Welcome to 2012! Happy New Year!
Survived all holiday activities, class schedule for 2012 is available, and the first set of classes begin 9 Jan. I'm excited :). My archived classes will get an update for those who like to print the lectures. I'm also revamping some of HTML 2 class. I did not get the teaching assignment for HTML 5, but it's okay. It gives me a chance to add some bits into my HTML 4.01 course.

2012 Class schedule is a "go"
Classes for 2012 are set and class schedules available. Submitted a proposal along with several others for an HTML 5 course. The language has not reached official recommendation from the W3C but there are parts of it that have browser support. I look forward to seeing the specification taught. And, if I'm the one to teach it, that would be great as well -- but I'm not holding my breath. :O

Sweltering heat makes one not want to work. :(
This summer has been dry, hot, and uncomfortable. We hit a record 50+ days of over 100° heat. On the positive side, school is around the corner for my daughter and the August session of classes starts today. There's only one session left for this year after this.

A new year is upon us... new year... new look.
Classes for the January session are going along nicely. Good group of students. Class schedules are available. All of the classes will start on the same day. Each class will be offered five times over the course of the year. I will keep to a 2-4 day grading rotation. It looks like 14 March 2011 is the next start date for all courses.
We are now using Moodle as a classroom management software.
Minz, my wonderful co-instructor, teaches CSS 2.1 in Depth in addition to the Intermediate CSS Workshop. Enrollment for the advanced course is limited so keep a watch out for it.
